The Smart Beds from Flying Beds really live up to their name as a truly ingenious selection of space saving and innovative designs. Previously Furniture Fashion reported on the Twirly Bed that allows a desk/bookcase by day and a fold out Murphy style bed by night all in a wall hugging 22″ profile. The Castello is an equally cool Smart Bed and offers a double fold out bunk bed with ladder in a slim 10″ depth. In addition a single top bunk can be left closed leaving the lower bunk working as a sofa with help from some back pillows. The Castello is available in white, cherry, maple, white oak, wenge, or walnut melamine and costs $4050USD complete with ladder, safety rail, and two 6″ thick foam mattresses.
