Pacific Green was created by Australian designer, Bruce Dowse. Pacific Green’s vision is to save rainforest and other indigenous trees by constructing furniture from palm trees. World wide demand for coconuts has sharply declined creating a surplus of palm trees. By only taking older trees in the twilight of their life span, he is able to help sustain the environment by not using more popular trees.
