At this day and age, we all should adhere to the “Go Green” mantra. Interestingly the A&D field has been able to prove that recycled objects don’t necessary translate into ugly. Product designers all over the world are showcasing their commitment to material reclamation by making some stunning sustainable furniture. Case in point, Emeco’s 111 Coca Cola Pet Bottles Navy Chair which as the name suggests is made of 111 discarded bottles and according to Emeco they expect to use about 3,000,000 plastic beverage bottles each year in production! The chair is solely made of plastic PET bottles (about 65% post consumer content) and will be exhibiting at the Milan Furniture Fair.
