At Milan Design Week 2010 : Aluminum Memory Chair By Tokujin Yoshioka
While the “Memory” Chair by renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka may not be the most aesthetically designed chair, we still can’t resist covering it. Debuting at the prestigious 2010 Milan Design Fair, the chair is already creating a buzz in the design continuum thanks to its material of choice. Made from recycled aluminum, this sustainable chair is able to alter its shape according to the weight or size of the user who has parked his/her derriere on it.
Says the designer:
“This chair might remind us of the beauty in nature with its ever-changing expressions, and also create the impression as if there is no presence of design.”
