Coiled by BCXSY For “Editions in Craft

“Editions in Craft” is a project undertaken by curators Reneé Padt and Ikko Yokoyama to showcase upcoming designers and traditional craftspeople and give them a prolific platform. The Coiled Collection is group exhibit from the women from KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and hence the collection is made entirely from local materials and traditional techniques. The series includes vases and lights and each creation blends cultures and influences flawlessly.
