Salone Milan 2011 Furniture Fair Preview: Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec’s Baguette Chair For Magis

At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2011, French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec will be exhibiting their Baguette chair. Designed for Magis, the modern chair features a plywood seat and its back has been  attached to four solid ash legs by an aluminum frame. Designed for Baguette table that was manufactured by Magis in 2010, the Baguette chair is the perfect accompaniment. While the chair has a certain simplicity to it, it still has a  strong sculptural presence thanks to its unique silhouette and modern aesthetics.
