LEDoorHandle Door Handle Doubles as a Standalone LED Flashlight

Designed by Kun-hee Kim, Kei Shimizu and Nguyen-vu, the LEDoorHandle is a LED door handle, as suggested by its name, that will offer a light source when you’d need one the most. The LEDoorHandle, by glowing in the dark, indicates the position of the door handle and therefore the door. In case a power outage occurs then the door handle can be removed and used as a standalone LED flashlight. Naturally, the more doors you have around the house, the more LEDoorHandles you should install. The LEDoorHandle comes with a light sensor that will prevent it from glowing during the day, and while placed in the door handle position it will recharge its Lithium batteries.
