Paris, the city of lights is long associated with quaint sidewalk cafes and brasseries. The perfect place to soak in the culture and vibe, the French cafes are knowns to serve famous patrons. The Les Grandes Tables de L’île by 1024 Architecture is a modern take on the archetypal Parisian cafe, as it is made from scaffolding and shipping containers on an island on the Seine. According to the architects, the cafe is an amalgamation of agricultural greenhouse, a barge and a timber-frame house.
