Splish Splash: 10 Colored Sinks

Bathrooms are often clinical-looking places, awash in whites and chromes.  An occasional pop of color can put an unexpected smile on almost anyone’s face — in fact, color is the cornerstone of the “Happy Modern” school of thought, built on humor, boldness and individuality.  So it’s fitting that the designer at the forefront of the movement, the ever-popular Jonathan Adler, leads off today’s image series with his new line of brightly colored sinks for Kohler.  We’ve come a long way from those pea green monstrosities of the 1970′s; these basins are juicy, bright and fun, showing up in super-saturated hues like teal, canary and fire engine red.  There’s even a swirl of primary colors and a color-blocked work of art; it’s a veritable rainbow of cleanliness in here today.  Lather up, friends; in today’s curation, cleanliness is next to — if not synonymous with — happiness.
