Texte-ile Chair : Furniture Made from Re-Usable Materials
Hi-Tech furniture meets recycling, or re-use in the case of the modern lounge Texte-ile chair which is actually discarded laptop keyboards. Designer Dante Bonuccelli and Lamm created this most unusual lounge chair for the UMUL 2009 project, Use More, Use Less, a permanent workshop on re-use in design. The keyboards in this case came from a company offering IT support to users with visual disabilities. I am sure we will see more on the Use More, Use Less project as ecological responsibility and the positive effects of reusing materials becomes more publicized.
