The “Soho Bath” is a Japanese soaking tub available from Neo-Metro. Whereas the more common examples are constructed of wood, this model is made of stainless steel. Some may argue that the lack of wood takes away from the restorative abilities of the tub and that stainless is not “personal” enough. I will leave that up to the readers to decide. Here is an earlier story we ran on wooden Japanese soaking tubs. This monster holds 150 gallons of water and measures 42″ x 47″ in diameter. One fact about steel is its ability to retain heat or cold. Recently, metal ice chests have been re-released that were once popular back in the 1970s. This is an example of how well metal holds heat or cold.
