Pierre Paulin’s Pumpkin Sofa from Ligne Roset
Ligne Roset of France has introduced the classic “Pumpkin” sofa collection to their line this year. Pierre Paulin’s revolutionary style initiated in the late 1950’s gave way to this 1971 design that was originally limited to the private apartments of Claude and Georges Pompidou at the Elysee Palace. The Pumpkin sofa collection is said to emulate the lines and protective shell of a pumpkin with an appeal that is simply impossible to resist. Available now in large scale production as part of the classically tasteful and quality oriented modern furniture collection from Ligne Roset.
