Samsung’s Touchscreen Refrigerators Have Multiple Apps
Ladies and gentlemen, the future has arrived. Samsung has introduced an entire host of “app-ified” refrigerators, building on the success of its original uber-digital fridge released earlier this year; it now offers no fewer than 23 touchscreen models for your food-preserving pleasure. Available in both side-by-side and French door versions (with a broad freezer drawer on the bottom), Samsung’s latest series of Touchscreen Refrigerators lets you check the weather, stream Pandora tunes, tweet to your heart’s delight, browse photos, and communicate with other family members. Each touchscreen spans eight inches and lets you command the world from the center of your kitchen. Vertical (side by side) models are available in a range of sizes from 24 to 30 cubic feet of storage apiece, and seven French door (freezer-bottom) models are yours for the taking as well, ranging from 23 to 29 cubic feet each. $2700-3500, depending on model.
